NOTICE TO UNITED KEETOOWAH CHEROKEE BAND OF INDIANS IN OKLAHOMA
Pursuant to the authority vested in the undersigned committee, we hereby call a convention for the purpose of voting for or against a provisional constitution which had been prepared by this committee. The meeting will be held at the Lyons Community House, eight miles south of Stilwell, Oklahoma, on Friday, June 9, 1939, and will convene at 10:00 a.m. All Dawes Commission enrolled or descendants of such enrolled Cherokee Indians shall be eligible to vote in person at this meeting, provided that they are 21 years of age or older and are of one-half or more degree Cherokee Indian Blood. The convention will select officers and conduct the meeting in pursuance with rules to be prescribed by this committee at the time of the meeting. The United Keetoowah Constitutional Committee
